24 Hours and only one important question, Chicken or Beef?
The day started with the optimism one could expect from a group about to go on holiday. The sun was shining bright and it was 10 o'clock on Wednesday morning (this information will become relevant by the end so stay with me). We were ferried to the airport (koo-ko in Japanese) by my uncle and my mam and after what seemed to be the weirdest route we arrived at our first flight. A painless goodbye (with not a tear shed by either party - thanks mam!) we departed to check in and grabbed ourselves a pint. The airport wait flew over (pardon the pun) and we boarded, all eyes on our flight virgin, Paul. Take off was fine and if he was nervous he hid it like a champ (video evidence may suggest he had a case of the old Elvis knee). A short stay in our seats and the realization began to dawn on us that we were going to be doing this for hours.
